Sure, one could say Happy Holidays, but what about specific Holidays? What phrases (or translations of phrases) are typically used for Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Ramadan, Saturnalia, Tet, Yuletide and others? How do people who celebrate these holidays greet one another at this time of year?

I know here in the US there are laws about slaughtering. For example if a rancher wants to slaughter a cow he has to contact a butcher shop licensed to do so and have them hang it in the freezer for a certain number of days to age before processing the meat. Inchaallah my husband will be with me in America next year for Eid and we are curious about how the slaughtering of the sheep is handled. Can Muslims who live here in the USA tell me how you handle this situation.

Have any suggestions or ideas on handmade gifts? Because I really need it---today. My class is having a Secret Santa thing and I need something homemade, it's the rule.
