My boss is a lady first of all and she's in her late 50's and I've only had her as a boss for 2 and a half years. I've only got 5 days before our Christmas party(where some of us will exchage gifts) and I have no clue what to get her. Anyone have any ideas?

Pre-packaged "foot spa" kits from a drugstore or Body Shop.
A dollar store mug packed with mints and candy.

I'm blown away by this "getting your boss any kind of gift". It seems to me that the person who controls your wages should be at the bottom of any "to buy" list at the holidays unless there are circumstances that overrule the power relationship; e.g. you were friends before working together, you maintain a relationship outside of work, you have a familial tie.

Anyone who controls your income should not expect a present as they are in a position to judge the monetary value of the gift in relation to your income.

A card with tidings is more than enough.

Bath sets are always thoughtful. Something with a nice fragrance, in a tasteful gift box. It shows a degree of thought, and is nice.

Or a sophisticated box of chocolates, you can't go wrong with chocolate unless people are allergic.

Or, if you want to go a bit more personal a nice photo frame could go down well.

Or, you could get a nice peice of homeware like some nice wine glasses or a platter or something.

If in doubt, remember it's the thought that counts.

I HAVE IT!!

Try these! Probably best as stocking stuffers or secret santa. They are cheap and don't look it. I used these last year and they were a big hit. Using again this year.

William Sonoma has great inexpensive, but nice gifts that most women would like.

Hot coco mix w/a cup
Hand crafted marshmallows.
Or a set of dish towels.

Good luck!
