Is it me or do you think that thansgiving is cheating every year becouse seems like we celibrate christmass 3 months out of the year, lol. dont get me wrong " i love christmass, but the month of nov, dec, and jan, seems like its christmass , your veiws please, thanx

If you put your watch forward by an hour a day without telling anyone would you be able to take a day off work at the end of the month without losing time? In a year could you get a week's holiday doing this?

I'm traveling for a week to a place that ONLY celebrates 90 days and 1 year anniversary's at the end of the month- should I wait until I come back to my homegroup in 10 days to celebrate or is it ok to celebrate tonight?

I've heard people from both sides of the spectrum- some who argue it's a jinx to celebrate early, even as little as 2 days early to others who agree it's not dramatic to celebrate 2 days early since I'm traveling.

Suggestions?

I need serious help and would really appreciate serious answers.
My family has been hit hard with serious illness and the housing crash. It looks like were heading for financial doom. How can I make the holidays nice, when everyone is feeling so down? I'm pretty unhappy myself, but I'm willing to try because I want more than anything for my daughter (16) to be happy. Got any ideas?

My birthday is in January.

I'm also in a long distance relationship, and my bf would be coming down for my bday.

Ok, I just saw this article on Yahoo saying in Sydney Australia they are now making Santa's say "Ha, Ha, Ha" instead of "Ho, Ho, Ho", because it is offensive to women. I'm a woman and I see nothing wrong with this! Is there really someone out there that is bother by a Santa saying Ho Ho Ho? If so, why? The phrase is not intended to make fun of women.

and im dreading it.... of course we have spent time apart in the past but im not looking forward to spending new year apart as it is such a special time... wel he is going away two days after xmas for ten days and its something he cant get out of : ( it may seem silly but im really not looking forward to it and its gunna kinda ruin my xmas...
