This will be my fourth year in the US and I've finally decided to brave the crowds. I've gone to www.blackfriday.info to construct a list. I plan on waking up early. I just need to know any success tips to making this day go well and getting the best deals possible. I'm hoping to get all my shopping done. So, how do you make Black Friday work for you?

I would definetly have to say the Winter Season During December/Christmas time. Just the whole atmosphere, weather, and feelings that are present really relieves any stresses I have. I love winter sports and snow.

Well, folks, it's just about that time of year again!

When spreading holiday cheer which is your preferred saying? Is "happy holidays" taking the place of "merry Christmas" all over the place -- or just when addressing someone who's beliefs you're unsure of?

also - in your opinion is it appropriate for a non-Jew to say "happy Chanukah" to a Jewish person?

What holiday traditions does your family have? Either that your parents passed on to you or that you and your family has started. One thing that my family does every year is the Friday after Thanksgiving we go out and pick a Christmas tree for the local tree farm and then we come home and we turn on Christmas music and decorate the tree and our house and we make Christmas cookies that day too. We don't have really any Christmas eve traditions which makes me sad. And we don't go caroling.
So what does your family do? And what are your favorite Xmas treat recipes?

Wow, dragging the boxes of decorations down from the attic, or in other cases, up from the basement, do we get to a point that as we get older, it is too much of a hassel dto do it anymore?

I have all kinds of decorations for this upcoming time of the year, but, putting them all up inside and outside gets to me more and more work as I get older.

Do you have this same problem? How do you keep the holiday spirit alive thru decorations and take muscle relaxers at the same time?

Guess old age takes it's toll on once household decorations, what about you?

My 17th birthday is coming up and since its so close to christmas i feel like i deserve it! just kidding, but also im not really doing anything for it this year and normally i have a party. but this is 358$ but its really cute. We are having a casual office party for about 20-25 people. I need some Christmas themed inexpensive but super fun party games to play and instructions please. We don't have a lot of space and we have people from age 24-60. The games need to be G or Maybe PG, nothing too racy. Thanks!
