Hell ya!
I guess, I wouldn't go as far as to ban it, but I am certianlly sick of all of the general crap associated with it. It was over a month ago when I was in my local supermarket and I first started hearing christmas music playing. It was the middle of October. WTC!?
...and Christmas is supposedly a time when you are supposed to do nice things for people, it is part of the "Christmas spirit", but I am a fairly nice person anyways. So now because it is christmas, and every &^%$ I know is faking kindness, I am now expected to be even more nice than my usual niceness. Awesome.
I like to buy people things and give them as a surprise. Where is the fun if people expect it?
Plus nothing makes you feel quite so good as receiving that 12 in 1 toolkit with detachable functionality from the person you dont really care for and didn't get anything for.Yeah, that is a special level of awkward.

...no, i really am a nice person. honest.

No! All the sights and smells of Christmas give me a warm gooey feeling!

Shops and houses lit up, friendly looking and open, the smell

of turkey, chestnuts and satsumas alongside all those tins of

toffees and chocolates.

And don't get me going about turkey, cranberry stuffing etc....!

Then there are the carol singers. Good old fashioned fun!

OK so the TV is c..., but all that is needed is a good strong

snowfall and an idyllic childhood Xmas is in place.

Trouble is I live in a place where the sun almost never forgets

to shine and we don't get any of the above!!!!

No. For only two reasons:
1. Lots of lovely food and drink on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. You can eat and drink loads without having a guilty conscience about the excessive calories - I can anyway.
2. There is usually a more pleasant, convivial vibe in pubs and bars over the Christmas period.

No, I love Xmas, especially because i have 2 children who get very excited. It holds no religious meaning to me, just lots of expense!. Its worth every penny though to see the kids faces when 'Santa' has been lol x

attempt counting you advantages after which you will no longer sense so unhappy. think of of each and every of the flaws you could desire to be pleased approximately. At church final Sunday, there grow to be a guy on the front row that grow to be DEAF and BLIND. Makes my BahHumbug's look particularly small!

You can ban xmas if you want, though it won't stop me from celebrating Yuletide.

Nah, I don't agree at all. I would be behind a movement to make it less commercial, though.
