how old is she? you could get her a small gold necklace with a charm on it, that means something you and her did together.

OK -- usually anything with the word "Golden" means 50th (which is the Golden Anniversary) ... so I am a bit confused by "Young Girl's" ....
Other than that -- a small gold chain (necklace or bracelet) would be suggested ... most of the time, though, if the girl really is young, anything will be easily broken (due to play). So I would make sure that whatever you do -- jewelry may not be the best option -- and you might do better by getting her a gold colored stuffed animal instead!
