i have a day or to before we are giving are Christmas presents to each other and she said that she spent a lot of money on peoples presents so i want something that will look really nice but might not be a whole lot of money! THANK YOU SO MUCH

I have worked in retail @ several different companies. No bonuses or corporate gifts, crappy holiday parties (if any), long hours, grumpy managers and shoppers, and no appreciation.

So... I bought my friends body butter from Bath & Body Works for Christmas, and I thought it was a good gift. But now I'm finding out they are getting me something bigger & better, and I feel bad. So now I want to make them a little something extra to go with the gifts, just to say I care enough to spend the time. The only thing is, we are exchanging gifts tomorrow, and I don't have much time!

I'm sorry but I have to ask because I am so confused. Why celebrate day of guadalupe? My Husband is catholic but even he can't help me to understand. I grew up believing in celebrating on the birth of Jesus and that it was wrong to hold anyone or anything as high as Him. So, if someone could help me to understand this, I would appreciate it. Along with, why is the virgin mary so special. Yes, i understand that she was the chosen one to birth Jesus, but what if it would have been someone named JoAnn? Would catholics be celebrating the day of JoAnn? It just doesn't make any sense to me.
