way too much; I have grown children but I still buy for them; crazy I know ; hard to stop being a Mom ; a little girl just came into the office with her parents; nice to see the sparkle of a little one waiting for Santa; it brought a sparkle to my eye; enjoy your children , no matter what ; they are little for so few years ; Merry Christmas

All adults. We have put a $35 limit on gifts. I wish way back when we started, we would have banned Christmas gifts in the family, leaving that for other times of the year. To do that now, however, would be hurtful for some, I think.
It0s not that there is anything wrong with Christmas gifts - it's all a part of joyous celebration - it's just that I find it distracts from what we are really celebrating.

It depends on how much money you have to spend & how much they deserve. I always say never spend more than 1 months pay on gifts in total.
Example... if I make $4000 a month, I won't spend more than that on all the gifts I purchase for everyone. If I had 2 kids close in age I would split it down the middle... One one was a teen and other a toddler, I would do more of a 60/40 split, with the older having more.

I haven't finished yet. However, I spent about $100 on each grand child (I'm not buying them anything else besides colouring books) and about $20 on each of my 3 kids and their spouses. I plan on spending another $25 on each
