I know where the Santa part came from, but where did a Christmas Tree, Christmas Lights, and mistletoe come into the whole Christmas holiday?

The Christmas tree comes from the Celtic/Druid (pagan)celebration of the equinox, when celebrants would decorate their homes with nature (they did this for every holiday, in December it was evergreen branches) Quite a few traditions come from the Celts. For example: the Yule log. Christmas lights came about when the Germans started putting candles in their trees, eventually they were made the slightly safer electric. Mistletoe is from a Norse tradition - it represents the goddess of fertility.
