who like fruit cake....I thought you give fruit cake to people you don't like very much...

I love fruticake and make a traditional one. But here is an easy one for you and it tastes great.
Buy a pound cake mix, or yellow cake mix if you can't find that.
Soak two cups of fruit in warm water for fifteen minutes so itdoes not dry out.
Make up half the batter using half the ingrediates listed to make the batter. Add nuts if you want.
Add fruit to batter and bake at temperature on the box.
PS you use half as you are adding fruit to make up the whole weight. You can use the whole mix and double up on the fruit.
