This Christmas may be my last one because I am terminal. So knowing this, I want the Holiday to really stand out in their memories as being the greatest at Grandma's house. Does anyone have any special family traditions that make Christmas wonderful and so memorable they want to pass it on to their children? Thanks.

I have seen many homes recently(as early as election day) with icicle lights on at night and the big x-mas blow up things in yards going too.

I have my own opinion on this, and I was wondering how others felt.

Is it ok, or not?

This is a question asked by my 6 year old. I told him I don't know why, and he suggested that I look it up on the internet!

The Christmas season seems to be less and less about Christ and more and more about credit cards. I find this sad and stressfull especially when you don't have money to burn. What do you do to avoid the pressure to buy, buy, buy. The stores start putting out Christmas stuff the day after Halloween!

I am a guy turning 30 next week. Need kool birthday ideas for a group of friends (both guys and girls). Something unforgetable. A friend of mine had a beer tasting show at his home for his 30th. Another had a latin dinner cruise with lots of drinking and dancing. Both were a lot of fun.
I know there are a lot of intelligent, original, and resourceful people out there. Please help.

I met her three years ago when my brother and her were just friends. I have not seen her sense, and she is coming over to my house on Christmas with him. My brother is not being much of a help at all, and I want to get her something so she is not the only one with nothing.

Every year you visit people who have Artificial Christmas Trees; some are green, silver, white, gold or some variation of the four. I've actually seen one that was Pink!! I want to get one that is "Black". Does anyone know where I can purchase a "Black Artificial Christmas Tree"? I have a specific color scheme in mind and only a "Black" Tree will suffice. Also, I don't want to have to relinquish one of my children in order to get it. So please try to include any pricing information you may know...I'm cheaper than Ebeneezer Scrooge, but know what I want. Please help. I'm running out of time. 10-Q

My husband and I have always tried to keep the holidays as equal as possible with Thanksgiving & Christmas Eve with one side and Christmas Day with the other. We now have come across and extremely inconvenient and problematic situation. Since Christmases on my side have always been at Grandma's house (an hour and half away) that is where we do Christmas Eve, when it is our turn with them. My husband has to work at our church's Christmas Eve service until almost 7:00 p.m. then we are now expected to load up two kids (5 & 14 months) and take them out of town for approximately 2 hours to turn around and come back home for Christmas Day here. My aunt and uncle, who care for Grandma, won't budge and move the celebration to my house or my mom's here in town. What should we do?
