Who decides what days holidays fall on? Easter hops (no pun intended) all over the calendar so I was just wondering.

My birthday once fell on Easter Sunday, April 22. It has never done it again.

No. Easter is ALWAYS the first Sunday after the first full moon after the first day of Spring. That was probably decided eons ago by the Catholic Church. There is rhyme and reason to holidays.
Memorial day is the last Monday in May, Labor Day the first Monday in September. Thanksgiving the 3rd Thursday in November. Those are American dates and were decided by Congress.

But you get the picture on why the date may be different, right?

I guarantee your birthday will be on Easter once again. Here is a great website that goes up to the year 9999 for Easter dates.

And yeah, below is right, I forgot my Catholic School lessons on the date and I had a brain fart. Of course it is the first Sunday after the first full moon after the first day of Spring.

My daughter's birthday is April 16 and she is 22 and I believe Easter has fallen on her birthdate 3 times.
Easter can be no earlier than March 22 and no later than April 25. I went up to the year 2040 and Easter did not fall again on your birthday. I can't give you an explanation for that.

Actually, Easter is always the first Sunday after the first full moon after spring equinox.

By gemmy's formula, Easter would never be any later than the first week of April.

not everyone agrees on holidays. In the Orthodox church, Christmas is Jan 6 and Easter is usually later than the western one, too.
