I love Christmas too!! I find that the months before Christmas that are spent planning, decorating and baking are more exciting than the actual day!
I have decorations up, my tree will be up tomorrow. I have just put all my Christmas carols on my ipod.
Have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I found some really cute, large inflatable and light up decorations at a Dollar General and Family Dollar store nearby. I got a flyer in the mail on it, or wouldn't have thought to look there. Also saw lots of cute, inexpensive stuff at Old Time Pottery. I just bought a 3 ft. resin bear in a scarf and hat, carrying a Christmas tree, for our porch. In the past I've purchased several things at Big Lots, and I bought 10 undecorated wreaths at Garden Ridge, along with some small battery operated strands of Christmas lights. They are about the right size for the wreaths. My plan is to use them in our family craft tradition. The day after Thanksgiving, while all the guys watch football, the women work on a craft. We call it our "female bonding time," and the crafts always relate to Christmas in some way. Also 3 cheap glue guns, which we will share, and plan to use some cheap decorations, and natural stuff like pine cones and berries. So guess we are also love Christmas a lot, too - we will be driving around to see the Christmas lights, too, followed by a stop for hot chocolate. Enjoy, & don't forget the reason for the season!

I love Christmas. I collect Santa Clauses and have over one thousand of them that sit around my home all year round. I start baking for the holidays in october and freezing the baked goods so when the holiday gets here then I don't have to do so much work and I can sit back and enjoy the season.
We put out our yard decorations the day after Halloween and invite the family over on Thanksgiving night for the turning on of the lights.

Are you kidding ? The food , the decorations the Christmas Tree . People coming over to see you . The lights ! The kids running around . Santa ! The gifts ! My family being all together ! The Christmas music . The joy of it all . The birth of our Lord . I wouldn't call it obsessed . I would call it enjoying life at this special time of year .

Christmas is my admired time of three hundred and sixty 5 days! i like the lights exterior, great festive neighborhoods, snowmen, family contributors amassing mutually, Christmas carols, Miracle on thirty fourth highway, sending letters to squaddies distant places, warm cocoa, alllllll the excellent scents of the trip (pine cones, cinnamon, Christmas timber, freshly baked cookies, and so on), pulling out a blanket and snuggling by ability of the fire, each and all of the warmth faces of companion and infants and strangers. I only easily love what the season brings out of all of us, even in the worst of situations :)

How wonderful that you are so happy Christmas is coming. I wish I could be happy about it but for some reason I feel really sad about it this year and would rather let it pass uncelebrated. I guess it's due to ill health...I just don't feel up to it. I'll be happy for your joy though.

I don't get into decorations.. No tree for me... no lights everywhere.... Just the joy of the faces that get the things they wanted all year when i could not take time to afford it all... that night is all for them!!!
