Like most Commonwealth countries, Barbados celebrates Remembrance Day on Nov-11 (11th day of the 11th month). This is the time at which Barbados remembers those who served in the two World Wars and honours their sacrifice.

A national ceremony/parade is held at the War Memorial (Cenotaph) in Heroes Square in the capital city of Bridgetown and is attended by the Prime Minister and Governor General. The general public also attends.

Parades are given by armed and un-armed units (police, defense force, fire service, cadets, girl guides, etc) as well as the war veterans.
