Holidays - December 2007

When I was in Lebanon, I enjoyed EID so much. My family and me always gathered with my relatives in my grandparents' home on the first day of EID and we ate breakfast, lauch and dinner together. We spend all the time together. We pray Jamaa and we Watch TV shows and we laugh and enjoy our time. The children get money from relatives and they go to fun land and buy toys. I liked that when I was a child. Now I live in Canada. I don't feel Eid at all. I always have exams on Eid days or in the same week and I can't skip classes because attendence in mandatory in most Engineering classes.
I am so sad.

What do you do and how do you enjoy your time?

Only 10 days till christmas and I'm stumped. Its not an emergency but I could use some help.

1. She is 13. And a tomboy, with a great arm for football, so no cutesy stuff.
2. I have $20 to spend.
3.No gift baskets. Gift baskets are cheap.
4. No makeup or clothes
5. I also live in Hawaii so I'm limited on places to buy. So no Target, or Trader Joes, etc.

muslims are supposed to be helpful and kind towards their brothers and sisters. no wonder we're not getting anywhere!! you know i am just wasting my time/points, everyday one of these questions pop up they get stars etc, but nothing is done...if you are going to email people dont insult, its rude and disgusting. thats why i dont allow email. if you do something wrong appologize and repent!?!? i've done it...its really not that hard.....its a shame...some christians and jews are nicer than some of you muslims.

tell the truth:
1) have you ever been sent hateful/rude email?
2)have you ever sent on to your sis/brother in Islam or anyone on this sit a rude email?
3)why do people do these things? to intentionally hurt them? do you actually think you are helping them by insulting them?
4) if you have sent an email that might, in the slightest bit have hurt someone, do you regret it?

he was born during this time on or around Sept 29, 2 bc...give or take a day...but doesn't it make since he will arrive during Harvest time to reap his Children from this world. I believe things are done in a orderly manner and this makes since to me.

Last Christmas someone that I know bought my brother one of those Giant T.V. remote, and a Giant Calculator. I haven't seen the person since last year so I can't ask them where they bought it. Does anyone know where I can buy one of those Giant Calculators? I found some online, but it wont be here in time for christmas... the size's online say

Well we did a gift X-change for some program in my University. (CSUS yay). We all agreed minimum $$$$=15 dollars.

I bought my secret santa (girl) a CD that was more than $25 and seems like she liked it. Because my gift exchange person was not there, I did not get mine. The next day, some girl said, "did ya get ur present?" I said, "nope." she stared. "Oh, i left it in your mail box. " I was happy. "Thanks?" I thought. "It's just candy she said............UGH!"

I was semi pissed. It turned out to be a $1 box of candy canes.......what the F*ck?!!! $15 minimum? HELLO... BAHAHAHAHahahahahhahahahah worst gift ever! Seriously this is worst than not getting anything.

well first of all me friends are 12, and they're all getting me really nice gifts, but my mom is really pissed at me so she wont take me to the store. I already got them a couple things- chocolate bar, nail polishes and CD's/makeups.

but this may sound like a lot, but its really small! and i know they're going to get me exactly what i wanted. So what could i give them? I don't want to give them anything thats like used (by me) so is there anything that i can possibly make that a 12 year olds would like? they're really into: makeup, clothes (hco, a&f, ae, pink) and music.
