my 6 year old is doing a school report about england and their holiday customs and one is how do they say merry christmas and there r so many differnt web pages one say they say merry the other says thy say happy.they also want a special holiday song from england.

Merry Christmas or Happy Christmas we use both.

But if you're sending greetings to someone you're not going to see over the Holiday then it would be Merry Chrismas and a Happy New Year.

there might be a ocean between england and america but they are still christian which means they have a merry christmas

My cousin lives there and she always send me a card that says "Happy Christmas" so I'm assuming thats what they say there.
