Nativity scenes symbolize the reason for the Christmas season. How on earth is that offensive? What i find offensive is replacing the nativity scene with symbols of the commercial and secular side of Christmas like presents and Santa. Neither do i find the Star of David for hannukah [sorry...i think that's spelled wrong] offensive. i am Christian, but other people have other ways of celebrating the season. and while i don't believe what they believe, i'm not going to be offended in they tell me happy hannukah, just like i would expect them not to be offended if i told them merry christmas.

I don't find them offensive, I find that most nativity scenes are incorrect. The three wise men (which are often shown in a nativity sceane) are thought to have come much later than the actual birth of Christ to give him their gifts. Some say that they didn't arrive until Jesus's first birthday, in which case they shouldn't be shown in the nativity scene.

Definitely NOT! What I find offensive is how sad it is that so many people do not know the true meaning of Christmas and that Jesus came into this world to save us from our sins so we may live eternally in Heaven!

No, I find people offensive who want to down my choice of religion. I am not telling anyone it is wrong to believe in what they believe in, I can respect them, but I need to be respected too. And as long as it is in my yard or my house I really don't care what anyone else thinks, if they get offended then don't look!

no it is a tradition in our country as well as the fact it is a religious symble of why we have the christmas season in the first place.
what I do find offensive is that people who do not share our religious belief wants to change what we believe in, I'm not saying they have to share my beliefs, but they can celebrate there beliefs in there own way. if they want to decorate a buddah, or any other religious figures go ahead its your choice just dont try to change mine
