how about a family activity they can all go do together like ice skating, roller skating, bowling, movies, tickets to a play. maybe if you do the ice skating you can make it a snow day theme and throw in gift card to Starbucks for some hot coffee and cocoa, map to the sledding hill and a sled or tubes, snowman building kit, igloo brick maker, and maybe a good family winter movie like Snow Day or The Christmas Story.

well a good idea would be to do it for a whole week long and everything having to be handmade and/or not more than $1.00 at the store. its nice seeing how creative people and kids can be to show they care when one cant spend a lot of money!!!
