My friend loves it so much that she celebrates it as her favorite holiday & fake b-day. Her favorite color is green & favorite is 5, & her nickname is SHAMROCK, & she's well-known as the 5-leaf clover. So, 2morrow, we're celebrating the holiday likeit's her b-day with cake & ice cream & a St. Pat's Day dinner. LOL

I don't get the entire green beer drinking thing and the way it ties into Ireland's introduction to Christianity.

Its either about becoming Christian or drinking your face off like a Pagan (which is actually anti-Christian).

Whats the deal with the drinking thing? Is that just a genetic thing?

Hi there --

I'm hoping someone can help me. I have to schedule a number of events around the first two weeks of April.

I've been told that Passover starts on April 2 and runs for a week. I've also been told to avoid the first days of Passover (e.g. April 3).

Is it best to avoid this whole period? Would it be insensitive to schedule something on, say, the 8th or 9th?

In essence, I don't know if all of the days during passover carry equal weight for those celebrating it. If it they do, please let me know.

Thanks.
