The 4-leaf clover really has nothing to do with St. Patricks' Day. The three leafed variety you see is a shamrock & is symbolic of Ireland & St. Patrick. Hope you get out & do something fun & don't forget to wear green tomorrow!!!

Luck of the Irish is for a shamrock (3 leaf clover). It represents the Holy Trinity (St. Patrick used it to explain the Trinity to Irish Kings while a missionary)
There's nothing essentially Irish about a 4-leaf clover. It's just lucky because it is rare (there's approximately 10,000 regular clovers for every 3 leaf clover).

Shamrock's Meaning
The druids in Ireland looked at the shamrock as a sacred plant because its leaves formed a triad. Three was a mystical number in the Celtic religion.
The shamrock was used to represent the Trinity by St. Patrick. By doing this he could show people how the church was connected. St. Patrick used this to symbolize how The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit can be separate but also part of the same entity. But this is only a myth, as it is not supported in any factual literature in Ireland.
The shamrock was a sign of rebellion of the Irish from the English. Anyone seen wearing one were to hanged.
The shamrock is used in Irish pubs around the world. It is a sign of an English speaking, warm establishment.

Three leaf clovers are called shamrocks and are the most commonly found. It goes like this: one leaf is for faith, second is for hope, third is for love, and the fourth is for luck.

quite fortunate, i might say. i think of there's a international checklist for the guy who got here across the main volume of leaves on a clover. i think of it became 10 or 12. so which you're a honest way onto that. nicely accomplished :)

I dont know, but there is no such thing as LUCK.
God is in control of everything, and either He is blessing you or He is not. That depends on if you love Him and obey Him or not. THere is no such thing as coincidence, there are only GOd cidences.
There are four leaf clovers, but dont bring good luck. Nor do the three leafs bring bad luck.
This planet is Gods and the sooner ppl get it, the better.
PPL say, with God running it, why is it so bad now? Please. God is letting the devil run things awhile to get our attention, its Biblical. and soon He will come and do what needs to be done to remove sin. Be sure you are fullly ready for Jesus when He comes to rapture us home.
ALso, when ppl ask this question about so much bad.... Ok, my question.. Do you see that the ones bringing in all the perversion, pain and ugliness. are not those following Gods word. Some may call themselves Christains, doesnt matter. A Christian is one who lovess God enough to obey His word, all of it. anything less is not Christian. So, Gods ppl do not bring all the yuk into the world. We are just forced to try and deal with it all, as others bring it to us. BUt, if we stay Gods, He will make us victorious and get us thru it.
Till Jesus comes.
