Of cource, the Irish flag, shamrocks and harbs should be everywhere for decorations.

For food:
Irish stew
Corned beef and cabbage (that's Irish-American, not Irish)
Irish soda bread
Sheperds Pie
Colcannon (mashed potatoes and cabbage side dish)
Scones
Bangers (Irish sausages)

Drinks:
Guinness
Harp
Irish whiskey (I like Bushmill and Jameson)
... Please... no green beer... All self-loving Irish shudder at the thought...

Here's a link with a lot of Irish recipes:

For music... Irish of course... The more Irish rebel the better!
Wolfe Tones, Shebeen, Irish Brigade, Tommy Makem, The Clancy Brothers, the Chieftains, Athenrye, there are a lot, but these are some of the more famous ones... any jig or reel will do...
If you have a web connection, here's some streaming content as well, but make sure to have some Clancy Brothers, Tommy Makem and Wofe Tones at least...

Irish soda bread is always a big hit around here. I make corned beef in the crock pot, put it on low and let it cook all day and it almost falls apart. Slice it really thin and make ruebens on rye with swiss. You can slice the meat and put it back in the crock pot to serve buffet style and it is really easy. Aldi's carries corned beef for a really reasonable price this time of year too. We'll be having buttered parsley potatoes and cabbage also. Killian's is a great drink for the adults.

I'd have to get some green beer and corned beef. In the juke box would be some Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly. But, what ever you do, don't forget the green beer.

Potatoes. Lots and lots of potatoes. Preferably blighted ones. Then spray paint them with acrylic paint. Green, of course!
