When I was little, I got moved up a grade. Today, I am 10 years old and like the only child that got moved up in the whole middle school!! The christians there are like Santa is such a stupid legend. They say Christmas is ALL about respecting God and Jesus. I am not a christian because my grandpaw hated my mom for not being christian. My mom not being christian kind of stuck on me when I was little. Anyway, I told my best friend I beleive in Santa and someone had heard. Now, it has spread all over the school!! Should I stop beleiving in Santa, the guy that brings happiness to all?

I was just wondering, because i celebrate christmas so it obviously doesnt bother me, but EVERYTHING is christmas-y... the malls, disneyland, even iTunes all have christmas related themes... so how does it make people who dont celebrate christmas feel?

i didn't know...
this would be the second christmas i spend without my sister without seeing her for 2 years.
my mom didn't know...
this would be the first christmas she would spend without her Dad alive and with us on christmas day.
my neighbor didn't know.....
she'd be spending christmas without her husband, who died of cancer 6 months after their wedding.
my foster mom didn't know....
she'd be spending christmas alone after her husband suddenly died on new years day 3 years ago of blood poisoning after admitting himself to the hospital for routine testing.
my other neighbors didn't know.....
this would be the second christmas they spend alone after their son was shot and killed at the age of 15 at midnight at the trolley stop just weeks before christmas.

now....what don't you know? more than you think. Look around you...what du take for grantid? What could be gone by next year, by next week, tomorrow? What we are given is a gift. Treasure it.

I'm Jewish, and honestly, Christmas doesn't make any sense to me. It's basically just the pagan Roman holiday of Saturnalia, combined with a few other pagan traditions. The bible makes it kind of clear that Jesus wasn't even born in winter. And why celebrate the birth of the messiah with commercial ventures?

I don't mean this to be insulting to anyone, and I'm sorry if anyone is offended. I'm just kind of confused.
