I am not sure whether or not to but things now or later. it is christmas eve! Will it be cheaper after new years?

Sure they will if you can the ones you want... If you are just buying anything that will do then wait until afterwards, but if they are the most popular gift out there and a little person is hoping for that thing only I would get it earlier, some toys are already cheaper here in canada. Check the stores that toys are not the main focus just a sideline they often clear out early to make room for the next celebration!

From my experience working in retail..Target...I do know that some toys will go on clearance after the holidays. But saying that, it will be the toys that are left and not selling. So if its one of the majorly popular toys, or the classics that are around all the time (Monopoly, Clue, other classic board games), they wont be on sale. So those it doesnt matter when you get them, just look for the sale ads.

merchandise will be cheaper after christmas due to the sales. all of the stores will want to get rid of their winter gifts to bring in new things to sell. so yes toys, clothes, etc will be cheaper after christmas. Happy Holidays!

If you want the best sales, you should go on the 26th. Don't wait until after the new year. All the sales going on now are just getting rid of their inventory, so that they can restock by the next year. So there probably wont be many good sales after the new year.
