While this certainly depends on the person, the general answer is that many (read: most) do not get offended. Also, you are probably asking this question as someone who does not live in or near a "Jewish community." Believe it or not, there are many places in the country where Christmas becomes the overlooked holiday: menorahs, stars of David, the works, and not a Christmas tree or yule log to be seen.

In general though, it is recognized that America practices some vague version of the Christian tradition, so people have come to expect that certain religious holidays take precedence over others.

I'm not Jewish but I don't celebrate Xmas. I just feel it's a time when most of society goes into the same trance of buying and believing everything to be different and good. It will pass and people will go back to their selfish ways come January.

I am not Jewish and I don't celebrate Christmas. I am not annoyed but I feel sorry for the people who scrape by or go into debt to spend their money because the marketing people have been so successful telling people they have to. I have my traditions and celebrate them but it doesn't involved spend large sums of money.

Will since we are in this country we should so we can do pleasure to Chretien people. We just ignore it even if it's not our religion. Because if you don't believe in Jesus-Christ as a god then there's no point to celebrate it.

Offended may be the wrong word. I get annoyed, certainly, but I get anoyed at anything which is forced down my throat and which causes massive traffic jams and gives me nothing worth watching on television.

These days, everyone gets offended at everyone else. So all you can do is enjoy your holiday and try to respect the holidays and practices of other peoples.

It makes most of the Jews I know christmassy.

Only a very few people (far less than the loony left would have us believe) get upset about other people's traditions.
