Should I bring down the christmas tree before the new year or after. Everyone has their own opinion and traditions. Since this is our first Christmas together with my wife and children in our own place... What do you think: Up or Down... and Why?

Yes, I know others are wondering, now I am expressing it too. It seems that we always have a reason to celebrate, and why not pour a glass of wine or other simliar intoxicating drink to celebrate the celebrating? Why? I propose we petition for a new holiday "Sober Day" where everyone realizes that they too can not drink and still be merry......Its New Year's Eve, 80% of America is drinking? Yes or no? Why?

all they are going to do is loss it and when the next year comes are you are going to probaly have a arc enemy and yall are going to try to out do each other and end up spending christmas money for some lights i could see if it was on a christmas tree but why on a house. i bet if everyone in the world put there money together of how much they spend on outside chrisrmas lights it would be more than 35billion or everymore higher than that so whats they point of out door decoration more money to spend when you could just give it to a neddy family in america our if you every watched bet in the morning and thoses sad little kids that be on there with big stomachs and it is empty just think about it next time you buy so many lights
happy new years
p.s. dont you agree with me about the folishness in the world these days and the money that should be on a limit

Enjoy it while you can. I only wish I could be with my family, laughing and having a good time. Instead, I'm in a one bedroom apt by myself... having issues with my boyfriend, who is at work... spending New Year's Even alone and just plain lonely. Be happy that you're around loved ones. For those of you who keep posting those sorts of answers/questions, maybe your New Year's resolution should be to appreciate your blessings.

We're having no celebrations besides the fact that my mom and sisters are going to the Temple to pray and then at 12 they'll celebrate there. It seems soooooooo boring. I'm thinking if I should go or not.

My boyfriend and I have been together for a year, as of January. We didn't really do anything for Valentine's Day 2006. Do I get him something or do something for him? If so, what?
