New Years Eve and weddings are the only occasion I drink. an acloholic beverage. Anybody else? What are you going to drink if you do. (Alcohol of course.)

Although Christmas is over, I still don't like the fact of Happy Holiday.....! Why does it bug me, because I am a Christian and that's what Christmas comes from. God sent an Angel Gabriel to tell Mary and Joseph the good new about their new baby boy! Little did they know, their baby boy would one day change the world! That boy was named Jesus, does everybody really think it's the best time and place to be taking Christ out of anything? I'm not putting any religion down, because i would want you to respect my religion! But God takes care of everything! So yeh.....it does bother me to take Christ out of Christmas!!!!!!

SO..... MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY HANUKKAH, AND HAPPY KWANZA! Is my message clear enough! let's be respectful and acknowledge all the religions during holidays!

Shoppers around the country say they are planning to spend an average of $907 for gifts this holiday season, down from $942 last year according to the 21st annual survey on holiday spending from the American Research Group, Inc. The overall average planned spending is down about 4% from 2005.

I spent $0 unless you consider food an expense...then about $50. How much did you good little sheep spend? How much debt did you encur? Was it worth it? Finding yourself with lots of garbage today?

wish people a happy Eid and it gets deleted. I just did a search and their are 3846 results for Merry Christmas and only 60 for Happy Eid. Now I know there are alot more people on here who celebrate Christmas then Eid, but how many Merry Christmas messages are being deleted. I know many people who have had their Happy Eid messages deleted because it violated community guidelines as it was not a question or answer. I wish I had the time to report all those Merry Christmas as not a question or answer because thats just not fair.

we do not do santa at all. and we let our kids no there is no santa. we still give them gifts. we call it new years gifts. but a lot of people i know who go to church do the whole santa. that is not why we celebrate christmas. we have even had some get mad at us or go off on us for what we believe. we are not going to teach our kids to believe in something that is not real and then break there heart later when they find out it is not real. we still enjoy the holidays and do gifts just not any from santa. we let our kids know the truth about why we celebrate and say we are opening gifts to celebrate Jesus birthday and to start the new year.
this is for those who are christians. i understand there are those who dont believe in Jesus.

This is because Christmas is about the birth of Jesus. So, those who celebrate it, do you celebrate it because you want to remember him or just to gather together, exchange presents, eat and drink and have some fun without even thinking about Jesus.

During the holiday season I received many christmas cards, however I noticed something strange about one of them. It was obvious to me that a card I received was 're-used' I'm not sure how he did it, but it looks like he erased the original message and name and wrote my name over it. Should I question my friend about this?"

THE TRUE SPIRIT OF THE SEASON IS IN YOUR HEART, feel no guilt for your celebration. Let no one damped your joy. Remember the love and warmth of your friends and family and forget the glitter and glam of the stores. Embrace the charity and giving of the season let go the avarice and greed. Let your smile be a greeting to an angry word. May the New Year find you content, healthy and whole.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
