During the holiday season I received many christmas cards, however I noticed something strange about one of them. It was obvious to me that a card I received was 're-used' I'm not sure how he did it, but it looks like he erased the original message and name and wrote my name over it. Should I question my friend about this?"

If you're good friends, then you would know if it is appropriate to ask. It could be possible you're friend screwed up on the original card and rewrote the message, which is fine because it means that he took the time to fix his mistake. Now, if he is just being cheap, then tease him about it. However, he could be in a rough spot financially, so you shouldn't pick on him for that, and you should appreciate that he went to the effort to give you a card.

Seems a bit cheap but maybe he is hard up and not willing to admit that he is in trouble. It may hurt his pride to come right out and ask him. The least he could do is cut out the picture and try and make a new card!

No, just be glad he thought enough to send you one. Admit it, you have regifted before. I love doing it. Keeps crap from cluttering up the house.

Why even worry about it. You were fortunate enough to get a card, that's all that matters.

I thought you meant a gift card. No hands on my gift card!

I wouldn't embarrass him; maybe he couldn't afford to buy for everyone he wanted to (even if it is only a card) It's nice that he wanted to give you one.
