Hi. I am from Canada, and I am wondering, is it still a holiday in the States? I sent a payment for my stepsister by overnight courrier on Wednesday, but the payment never got processed yesterday because it was Thanksgiving in the States yesterday. Any chance the payment will get processed today?

Today is my birthday and I realized that my personal new year (my goals, hopes, aspirations) is always renewed and that I do most of the assesing of my past year on my birthday, as opposed to the traditional calender January 1 new year. For people not born in January do you measure your personal life in the year between birthdays or in the year between Januarys?

I dont go to church, but I have some christmas parties to go to and I need to now awhat to wear to one. I want to wear something Christmassey without looking like and elf. We got at WalMart for 4AM to line up, and we just got back right now lol! I got a portable DVD player (I already have one but the price was so good), and I got tons of decorative items! And then we went to Target and I got a TV forr $180, and then we went to Best Buy and I got a camera for like half the price of what it usually is! We are having a break and then going to Macy's and then we might go to Wolf Furniture to get a new couch and some other things.

Okay, so for Christmas, we always go to my mom's side of the family in Indiana, which is about an hour and a half away from where we live, Chicago. So my mom's family wants us to stay there from the 23rd to about th 27th. We have two dogs. One we have had for 6 years, and one, we have had for less than one year, and that this is his first Christmas. My mom's uncle does not like dogs, and said we can only bring them if we take proper care of them. That will be super hard because they are house trained. We could leave them in the kennel, except for the newer dog is extreemly attatched to me, and he gets very upset when he doesn't see me for a while. The other dog could care less if he didn't see us for a while. The older one is a Maltese, and the younger one is half Chihuahua and half Yorkie. And this is the Yorkie's first Christmas with a familly. What should I do?
