It really can vary. The past 2 Xmasses here have been quite good, but you can never say with 100% accuracy. For example we had really, really heavy rain about 2 weeks ago with flooking but since then it's been really mild. Tourists in t-shirts in the daytime. I would always pack a jacket at this time of year as in the evenings it does get chilly. Some light trousers and jumpers will/should get you through the day. But just like anywhere the weather can be unpredictable and you can never say for certain what it will do.
