Just would be nice to know how muslims from other countries spend their Ramadan. In Malaysia, where almost all festivals/religious occasions/holidays (and daily rituals) revolve around food and eating, *lol* the highlight is always the breaking of fast, (although it shouldn't be so!!)

I am throwing a surprise birthday party in September for my brother's friends younger brother who I tutored this year. I would like to keep it low cost and things. I have found all the plates, and invitations at party city, for $30. I also found a HAPPY BIRTHDAY sign included in that price. Can you give me tips on a main dish for dinner + sides + snacks? It will be outside, with capture the flag etc.

Ideas on games, food +, for a good price?

We have some promising canadates..

1. Nuclear (Although there is controversy this one has been used by many countries almost exclusivly)
2. Wind
3. Solar
4. Hydroelectric
5. Biomass

Any thoughts on the above will be apreciated, and any alternatives that are offered will also be noted =)

*So called "Zero-point" energy scams need not apply and take up space in the answer list.

I remember reading somewhere that the name Santa Claus (from St. Nicholas) was actually first given in Coca Cola ads... I have seen Coca Cola greeting cards with pictures of Santa. Can somebody confirm or deny this? I don't want funny answers to this one please...

Do you do Santa in your house with your children, grandchildren, or any other children? If not, why not? If so, what are your Santa rituals (reindeer food, cookies and milk for Santa, gifts from Santa wrapped or unwrapped, etc.)?
