yes, we do Santa. we have 4 kids, 11,7, and 3yr old twins. i am not ready to let them know there is no Santa. we do reindeer food, cookies, milk, the presents are wrapped in special paper, santa leaves a thank you for the milk and cookies. my 11 yr old still believes. and when he asks if there is a santa, i tell him that there is one only if he believes and that if you don't believe you don't receive. he's probably the only 11 yr old that still believes, but i think it is the coolest thing in the world--I'm not ready for them not to believe. it's the best holiday for the kids

I am Santa for my 9 year old daughter, and I love it. She heard from some friends that Santa isn't real, and asked me if it was true. I just answered with a question "What do you think?" and she said she thought Santa was real. He is real, I am him come Christmas Eve. It is so much fun watching her on Christmas Morning. We always leave out cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer and a note thanking Santa for coming to visit even if we don't get everything we want.

Deffinately, no Santa. My son, 3 years old, knows about Santa from the little cartoon movies. But my husband and I decided that, untill this year, he's probably too young to know much about Santa anyway. Then, my daughter, 1 year old, came along, and now being due July 22, with our third...... No Santa..... It's too expensive in today's world to get gifts from mom and dad. . . then to buy gifts from "santa" Plus, my husband had a very good point..... Why put kids through the tragedy of finding out the Santa isn't real once they get to be 7, 8, or 9 years old?? No santa for this household.

Santa's gifts are always small enough for the stocking, thats the tradition. Leave milk and cookies and carrots for the reindeer. Children and adults get gifts, we tell children there is a spirit of Santa not one real live one.

YES!!!YES!!! But we do peanuts for the reindeer. And then.....this is really cute for the kids....we leave peanut shells and some clipped grass by their beds to make them believe that the reindeer were in their rooms. of course, there's milk and cookies for Santa. A birthday cake for Jesus too and the most fun is...drumroll please....I wait for the kids to fall into that state where they are almost asleep and then I go outside by their windows and jingle the christmas bells. Then I crack up as I watch them jump up in their beds thinking that Santa is right outside their window. It sounds mean but they get so excited. Two of my 4 now know the truth and they are not upset or angry at all. But listen, it's important to say right from the beginning that there's a little bit of Santa in all of us.

I am a rather fat, chubby, baritone voice, happy tempered individual so I usually get to do the Santa for my friends' kids. It's like a little quarrel each year between them like who's getting me for Santa this year. So I come with a large bag and red white fur lined costume, hohohoing at the entrance door, (btw! I also have a large, natural growing white beard though I'm only 44!) and have them reciting poems, singing carols and give them their presents. The worst thing about the whole thing is this huge, curly white whig I have to wear and which keeps me too warm and even itchy. I hate that! However... we don't have kids of our own and it's extremely relaxing and pleasant to watch the little ones joy! So... yes! We really DO SANTA!

By all means YES!! When they don't see Santa that is one way to let them know they can believe in someone even if they can't see them by cookies and treats dissapearing and presants appeasring .Kind of like the Lord giving blessings and being there for us even if we can't see him. Also by them giving it can show them also that SOMETIMES IT IS BETTER TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE. Santa is a way to show that Jesus came into this world to give us all something if we believe in him. Now, If you want to see the most amazing thing have Santa show up in person, deliver the gifts to the children, and then slip off without them realizing he is gone, have him go by a window and yell HO.HO, HO, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND GOODNITE!! GO RUDOLF and when the little ones' look out he's gone
