Christmas for sure, the atmosphere is a lot stronger and its the real thing. Most people celebrate christmas as a holiday far above 4th of July and most kids get school holiday's for Christmas

Without Christmas, we would not have the fourth of July. If you remember? Gods son Jesus was born on Christmas, that is when we celebrate His Birthday. Only when we celebrate Christmas, can we celebrate the fourth of July.

Christmas comes with a big package of emotions. Also, it is a universal occasion, celebrated in many countries, cultures and societies.
Fourth of July is local (only in America, although Americans are ignorant of the fact that other nations exist beyond the US of A).
