Christmas is the day we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ; however, no one really knows exactly when He was actually born.
I believe Christmas to be a day of celebrating and remembering the birth of our Lord. His birth was the beginning of our salvation from sins and the gift of eternal life for those willing to accept it.

I do not believe in Christmas. But then, I'm not a Christian or a pagan or any religion that celebrates the winter solstice. Or even the false birthday of a god (since Jesus Christ was documented to be born in the spring).

What does Christmas mean to me? It means that people concentrate being nice to one day a year. I don't like it.

When I feel the need to give a gift, I give a gift. Right there. I buy it, I don't bother to wrap it, and I give it to my loved one. It doesn't matter if it's 25 Dec or 18 Jun. I am just as nice to people on Labor Day as I am on Christmas Eve.

It is rather sad how so many people are nice only on Christmas. Even those who claim to be Christians can fall into this trap. Look at the Christians who attend only twice a year: Easter and Christmas. They aren't even pious the rest of the year.

Christmas is just another day for me. Granted, it's a day where most places close down, so I have to work with that. But I am not any nicer on Christmas than the rest of the year. I could not live such a hypocritical lifestyle.

Christmas, the day that Jesus was born. I believe in the miracle of Christmas, even though I do not actually know the day it happened. I am old, but not that old. My wife is from Costa Rica. There is no Santa Claus there. They celebrate by hiring a guitarist/singer to come to the house and sing religious songs. When I finally get to live with my wife in Costa Rica, Santa may make a small appearance, only for the children. But to celebrate the birth of Jesus should be the only priority of the day. Rejoice in the fact that Heaven awaits because God sent his only son to live and die for us.

It's a national holiday, it would be silly to say it doesn't exist. So yes, I believe in Christmas. It's just a fun holiday to spend time with family, eating and giving and receiving gifts.

Yes I do. To me it means this is the day that the saviour of my life from sin was born and so I should celebrate and be glad in it because if it was not for this day he would have not died on the cross for ma sins.
