I was listening to the Michael Baisden show a few days ago one afternoon, and his daughter is dating someone not of her race. He doesn't have an issue with the interracial relationship, but UNLESS she had preferred to date someone not of her race.

He was saying it is one thing to choose, but if you prefer to date someone not of your race then something is not right.

So...

Do you agree? Disagree? Do you even understand what the heck he meant?

To be honest I'm not sure if either is necessarily a good thing, choosing vs. preferring. If you fall in love, then you fall in love...is there any room for choosing?

Blacks are pretty, beautiful and cool in all shades of skin tones, I'm getting sick and tried that Halle Berry, Rahinna and other ligher skin African-Americans to represent the beauty of the black race.

This is coming from a lighter skin black woman, I'm getting tried of these dark skin or brown skinned black men looking at me because I'm light skin Black woman and they think they can have kids by me so there kids can come out light skin.

All the racial terms for caucasians are rather silly, and have no real fire or sting behind them. But every other ethnicity has a horribly derogatory term that is inherently demeaning and derogatory. Why is it, in all the centuries of justified hatred between the various minorities and the racial majority, that not one single term with real teeth has been devised?

i have my own theories, but I want to hear yours.

again. now if you go to an NBA game its mostly white folks enjoying the strength and talent and athleticism and miraculous plays off the strapping black men there. if the league became all white again ( and with white folk knowing what they know now about black athlethicism ) do you think that white folk will still go in droves to watch an all white NBA ? I am going to say this now I am not a racist person at all. I believe if you fall in love with someone and they care for you it doesn't matter what the color of their skin is. Rather the person be Cocasin, Mexican, Muslim, Gentle, Jewish or what ever. That is in my perspective. I am eager to see how many people agree with me or not. Please answer this question honestly. Ok, I am getting pissed off at my own race, due to selfishness? Maybe. I hate that I have to work SOO hard, to get rid of so many stereotypes, other black people constantly try to form.Black Actors and Actresses are getting paid to reinforce these stereotypes instead of turning down roles that ask for these stereotypical type movie castings. I am tired, of fcking rap videos that have only black people in it looking like idiots, they seriously look like losers, I can barely understand them, they disrespect me, and the rest of the women out there, and then they are being rolemodels out there for kids who don't have their fathers at their home, and only can look at male rolemodels on television. It's ridiculous, I am PISSED OFF AT THE ADULT BLACK PEOPLE, who have the ability to act motivated, respectful, educated, nice, yet choose not to. YES I KNOW IT'S NOT JUST THE BLACK RACE, but it's more noticeable in the black race. I am tired of it. Selfishness, maybe. Should I feel this strong?

I went to Jacksonville Florida and Houston and Dallas TX and I noticed white women have back there I was use to seeing white women with flat butts in Los Angeles.
