I am going to say this now I am not a racist person at all. I believe if you fall in love with someone and they care for you it doesn't matter what the color of their skin is. Rather the person be Cocasin, Mexican, Muslim, Gentle, Jewish or what ever. That is in my perspective. I am eager to see how many people agree with me or not. Please answer this question honestly. If you don't agree then say that and type down why you don't agree. The same goes for if you agree. Now how do you feel about inter-racial relationships?

This is, what, the 50th time this week that this question has been asked? Why is everybody so freaked out about interracial relationships all of the sudden. This is 2007, not 1967, or even 1987. Everybody has been dating everybody else for quite some time. Particularly since the 60's and Vietnam, there are lots and lots of biracial adults in their 30's and 40's all over the country. This is NOT SOMETHING NEW.

Here's a secret: There is no such thing as "interracial" relationships or "multiracial" people. There are relationships and people. Period. And these relationships and people are no different from any other relationships and people. Everyone needs to grow up and stop acting like there is some sort of racial voodoo conspiracy going on.

And what the hell is Cocasin?

As a veteran of an inter-racial relationship I can honestly say there is absolutely nothing wrong with them. As a member of the human race I can honestly say anyone who says they are absolutely not racist; is a liar! You would have to have a priest-like understanding of life to be completely aware of your racial feelings in our culture. As a combination of people from numerous races we all get angry when the trash man leaves the can in the wrong place. We can fool ourselves and tell others that we are not racist, but fact is; we are all racist. We can't help it! Then again, those types of differences are what makes life go around.

I do not have a problem with inter-racial relationships. If you fall in love with a person outside your race then good for you because real love is hard to find, but don't just think that those kinds of relationships could never happen to you. Because you never know who you will fall in love with. Besides when you think about it we are all a shade of brown- from beige to mocha to cream to chocolate... the list goes on.

Two grown consenting adults in a loving relationship is nobody else's business. Whether it's an interracial couple, a gay couple, an may/december relationship, it doesn't matter as long as they're both adults.

People need to worry about their own relationships and stop being jealous and judgemental of what other people have.

So yep, I agree with you :)

I'm obviously for them too. I've been with the same (black) man for nearly 20 years total (back before it was "hip") and we've been married almost 17 years. We have 3 children, 2 of which are teenagers. Their "significant others" are Hispanic.

I love to see other interracial couples AND I love to see couples of the same race just as much. Love sees no color and if someone doesn't like it, he or she can avert their eyes.

I fully support it given that I am a produce of it and I love my race (half black and half white). I hear that by the year 3000, everyone's gonna have a skin color similar to a brown paper bag though...

It's caucasian not Cocasin. None of what you have listed is a race. If you look at the colors of the Olympic rings you will see the different races of the world as that is what the colors represent.

Bob Hope made a remark one time that "Even halitosis is better than no breath at all" that is kind of the way I feel about inter-racial relationships. I enjoy having sex with females of another race especially young black women but I resent males of another race having a relationship of any kind with females of my race. I guess that`s bigotry at it`s peak for which I apologize to all but I doubt that I change. I mean no harm to any race nor will I do any harm to any one of another race over a relationship with someone of my race. The resentment I mentioned probably does more harm to me than it does to any one else but I just can`t seem to shake it off. I guess we all have problems.

I think it's great when people of different faiths or ethnic backgrounds come together. It can be hard to bridge those cultural gaps, but when you can work through the difficulties and create a loving relationship out of it, what's wrong with that?

Cocasin isn't a word, and neither Mexican, Muslim, Gentile, or Jewish is a race.
