again. now if you go to an NBA game its mostly white folks enjoying the strength and talent and athleticism and miraculous plays off the strapping black men there. if the league became all white again ( and with white folk knowing what they know now about black athlethicism ) do you think that white folk will still go in droves to watch an all white NBA ? NO ANSWERS ABOUT HOW WHITE PEOPLE WATCHED IN DROVES WHEN IT WAS ALL WHITE BECAUSE THIS QUESTION IS CONTINGENT ON THEM HAVING ACTUALLY WATCHED BLACK PEOPLE PLAY. IN PRE SEGREGATION ERA THEY HADNT ACTUALLY SEEN A BLACK PERSON PLAY SO THEY DIDNT THINK THEY WERE MISSING ANYTHING.

Of course they would still go to watch other whites play. How about hockey? Hardly any blacks there, yet the seats still fill up. Besides,There are many many great white basketball players. First of all, this question is idiotic, considering these basketball players that are black only have one thing that they can make 8 million dollars a year at, and that's basketball. You think they're going to give up all their bling for principle, you're dreaming. If they ever did boycott it would be because they wanted MORE money and it would be VERY temporary, certainly not because they are ready to stop making money all together. What would they do if they didn't play basketball, sell drugs.

I totally have no idea what your point is. I don't watch basketball now. The NBA is already populated by, and supported by, freaks of nature. Bunch of tall, skinny, gangly guys flailing around, and all their fans acting ghetto (black, white, latino, whatever). The NBA is a cultural embarrassment on many levels. An all white NBA probably wouldn't make a difference.

The NBA would see a significant decline in ratings and ticket sales as most of the present superstar's are black. Whatever league the black players move to will attract the NBA's white players and fans. In effective such a boycott would kill the organization.

Probably not, to me the NBA would not be as exciting. Most of those white fans will probably convert to golf or Nascar.
