i was listening to it and my sister walked in and asked me why i was listening to arabic music (her husband is arabic)
so she knows arabic music when she hears it.
and ecspecially the balkan beat it sounds sooooo arabic...why is this?? did arabics copy off of serbians or is it the other way around?

I just saw a question talking about someone being "black enough." Then people answered absurdly saying the person wasn't "black" because they didn't grow up in the hood and couldn't play basketball. To me, that is the most absurd thing in the world.

I grew up Upper Middle Class, I can't play basketball, and I have a degree.

One thing I had to hear when growing up is "you act white."

To me, that's an huge insult because I'm very proud of being black.

Why do people see educated black people and associate them as being "white" but can't just say they're smart?

It isn't just with blacks either. I hear it with most races (except Asians...)

Why?

I liked the Shins turns out thay have a bigger following in the UK than the US and the lead singer Studied in GB My favorite bands are Oasis and The Beatles Im mad fer them!!! I think Take me Out was megger!! and Turs out my favorite Aussie band Jet is also big in the UK, other than bands Ive lateley gotten into the Underground Asian Music like Bhangra, Punjabi music, like Punjabi MC, and tons of other fast beat Bhangra stuff, as well as Arabic/techno, Turkish/techno, and anything that happens to be summat like that, Turns out all of that stuff is becommong big in Britain!!! So its like I was born on the wrong side of the pond innit??

are white males? I find this very interesting and would love to know what is behind that. Some people may believe that some white men feel their 'traditional' majority role is threatened by the influx of immigrants, and I agree this could be a contributing factor. However the most negative remarks are directed at black people, black men especially. If anyone has a constructive answer to this please let me know...

She was one of the many short lived flings of Prince Charles, only she ended up married to him. She was a shop-a-holic pampered b*tch throughout the 80's and the early 90's and when her fortune started going dim she made half-@ssed humanitarian efforts toward solving the popular social problems and got a lot of good PR for it. When ya look back on it, she didn't really do anything too different than what Hollywood celebs like Angelina Jolie are doing now. She was just a pioneer of faking she cared and getting more attention than she warranted for it. What's your thought on the matter though? What really made her special beside being one of the only hobbies of Prince Charles' disgusting and voracious sexual appetite to get him hitched?

i hate it when people call people
"weird" because they wear black
or the favorite, emo or goth


but yet you dont judge people when your in abercrombie shopping for clothes, but you feel its necessary to call people in hot topic freaks?

there is a thing called self expression you know.

There is not much disperaty, between the lifestyles of Northern Europeans and Americans, they have similar incomes and comforts. Over a year, the gap between actual hrs worked is even bigger, because of the longer vacations. Why is that. Are we less efficent?
