why the stereo-typing?

i hate it when people call people
"weird" because they wear black
or the favorite, emo or goth


but yet you dont judge people when your in abercrombie shopping for clothes, but you feel its necessary to call people in hot topic freaks?
clothes are clothes
people are people.

there is a thing called self expression you know.

if you are one of the people who do this, id love to hear a reasonable answer on why you do.

Its fear of the unknown.... If you are different from the masses, some people tend to reject you or make fun of you instead of just trying to get to know you as a person.

Or another theory... It makes them feel better about themselves to belittle someone else.

Anyway, don't worry so much about what other people think, as long as you are happy with you then that's all that matters!

We wear what we want, and if people want to poke fun because we don't spend hundreds of dollars on one coach bag and have no money left til two months later than spend that money on 120 dollar sneakers, and have no money then, then they are just stupid, greedy, and will end up broke trying to live a high life that they can't if they are constantly wasting money. I can shop at Wall Mart, or stores like DEB, Dots that sale 20 to 15 dollar jeans, 8 to 5 dollar shirts, and 20 to 22 or even 12 dollar shoes and have money left to eat, get my hair done, get some cool jewelry or save up and look nice. I'm not materialistic and people shouldn't base the good life on that.

Right now, in this world, Everybody judges everybody for every or any one thing, some do it out loud and often to everybody, some just in their heads, and all variations in between those two. Not meaning to offend, just to point out, I ask, "are you judging the people based on their judgment of you?" I feel that temporary blindness would help people who treat others poorly because of the way they look, then maybe they would learn that there are only two types of people, good and bad.

I wear black a lot, and I happen to be a black person. Lol. My friends have called me gothic before just because I wear black shirts. Their ignorance of the gothic culture amuses me.

Don't mind the stuffy people who think their way is the only way and anyone who doesn't look, talk, or dress like them is "weird". Their daddy buys them everything they want anyway, so they're not worth your time.

It's not that.
It's the fact that some people like Hot Topic because they think it's cool. Some people are wannabes.
I am not saying that's the case for ALL people, but for a select few.

Goth's are freaks the association with dark colors mean they have problems and are ashamed of themselves basically screwed up. Abercrombie is fo rrich white kids with the perfect life and they are not afraid to show some flesh not to mention the bright colors. We associate things with color like black is death and colors are life.
