Think about it.

The majority of people who have racial views on other people get the disease by:

1. Their racist ignorant parents

2. Someone from another race said or did something to them or to someone they care for.

Its been proven that people who grow up to be violent obtain that violence from their parents. And just like kids who bully other kids, Most racists have low self esteem. A bully has to make others feel the pain that goes on in his/her life, so they do that by hitting and picking on other kids. A racist I believe works in the same manner in which they are miserable with themselves or have no friends or have low self esteem.

These types of people then use forums such as this one in a last attempt to try and make their anger and/or misery somewhat bearable. Thats why you see racist ignorant questions. It does not matter whether you are white, black, Asian, Jewish, or any other nationality. RACISM DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE (thats because it comes in all colors).

I've done LOTS of stuff that makes me wish I could go back and not do it.

I've broken 9 of the 10 commandments. I've hurt just about every family member I have. I once got fired for showing up to work drunk.

So what have you done? Can you admit your mistakes? What did you learn from your mistakes?

I asked one question about My friend not admiting that she was Black people were getting on my case. It matters to me because it's like a slap to my face when she says that she isn't Black when she claery has Black ancestry. She has dark skin liek me and kinky hair. I'm Dominican and Jamacian and shes "Puerto Rican" it just makes me so mad who she just denies it. I'm not telling her that she should only conseider herself Black. I'm telling her to stop denying herself. she also mad me mad by saying that "when black people have natural kinky hair it looks messy and ugl and they need to get relaxers" Shes a Black hispanic like me, but I was raised black and I very proud of my hertitage and I don't mind having the kiknest hair or the darkest skin.

Of course I have to wash under my arms and my bits to avoid getting smelly, but apart from that it gets on my nerves and I avoid it, and getting wet in other ways, as much as possible. I think I was a lizard in a previous life.
I raise this post as a protest against the assumption made be so many people (not least the new bathroom manufacturers) that having a bath or shower is enjoyable. its not!
Who else feels the same way?

I absolutely admire her and her book, Black Sexual Politics: The New Racism by Patricial Hill Collins.

Its something I have been trying to explain. Also, I have noticed that when Black and Hispanic people try to address the issues on here. Lots of people call us bigots.

But the question of interracial dating, and sex myths, are VERY legitimate concerns in our communities.

Minorities still have to overcome racism, colorism, just image issues. And WAKING up to the ways that people perpetuate racism...

My African American studies teacher was taking about how Domincans, Cubans, and Puerto Ricans are black because of their heavy African slave ancestry. The Europeans brought slaves over the Carribbean islands because the Indian populations were dying out. And I told my friend about it and she was like "no! not all puerto ricans are black, some are white, some are indain"She makes me mad how she clearly has Black blood in her, that she denies being Black. I told her that here in American there is a race is defined, if you have one drop of Black blood or one Black ancestor in you no matter how light or you are you're Black. I mean how could all of the Puerto ricans, Dominicans, and Cubans be all miestizo if there were more slaves than Indians on the islands? What do you think about this?

Well i was thinking, in order to eliminate poverty it the world, 'cause i notice most of the questions asked have to deal with kids suffering in other countries. etc. As an individual living in today's society, would you say everyone would be better off if there were no countries, and just one person in control? or a group of elected officials from all the world come to the conclusion that there isn't a need for different currency, and the menality that certain races are somewhat "superior"...so instead there would be a One World Gov..

I know this is a difficult topic since they are pro's and con's...but overall i think its because of different government systems and our attitudes that makes the world what it currently is.
