im asian and stuff but my eyes are similar to a caucasians eyes. yet people cant see that. you can tell that im asian but people always say "HAHA chinky eyes can you see through those eyes?". are they just dumb or what?

I heard that people with nappy hair (blacks) can't get lice because of the folicle of the hair root. They say the lice can't plant their eggs in because of the struture of the hair folicle. Is this true? I have nappy hair and never got lice. There was a stray kitten in my yard and I brought it in the house and slept next to it in my bed. Later on when I took it to the vet, they said it had lice, fleas, and mites. I never got anything from it.

Also, does this also go for pubic hair? I have pubic hair that doesn't look like white people's. So can I get crabs?

Please do not take anything personally because I'm sure it works both ways & I really don't want to offend anyone I'm just alittle upset that I feel this way & want to know if I'm in the majority or minority. I used to live in NY & for those who are familiar there are black & white neighborhoods. In the South where I am now everyone shares the neighborhood. A close family friend would like me & my kids to come visit him this Spring in Harlem. But as embarrased as I am to admit this I am afraid to go. Not because I am predijudged because my friend is black but I'm afraid that the other people would not want us in their neighborhood. Do other people get afraid too? Please don't give insults as I already feel very bad for being afraid

i am protestant and respect everyone's right to choose, but something's i don't understand about catholics are; 1) why would you put complete and total trust in a pope or priest? the priest is supposed to "infallible" right? but the way they get their position is induction through vote. so how can "fallible" people create an "infallible" person?

Is there even ONE guy out there who doesn't watch porn? If you don't, why don't you? Because my boyfriend still does, even though we've been together for 2 years. of the girls that i've dated, i've noticed only one race/ethnicity didn't seem to carry an inate sense of attitude, vulgarity, and abruptness.
to avoid confrontation, i will NOT say which one. But seriously, even the girls that i didn't date and just casually noticed, they were the same. by the way, i AM of a background that i prefer to avoid dating. The one that i prefer, most of them were genuinely nice and sweet. any insight?

I mean, I have dreads, but I refused to get them until I graduated college and had a job. Many employers don't hire employees with "ethnic" hairstyles, especially in corporate America. Why on job interviews do people not want to wear dress shoes or wear their pants sagging? Can't we figure out that if we have a pair of tennis shoes for every outfit to the club we should have double that number for something to help define success with us? Why can't we realize that there is one look for hanging out and another for working? Why have another reason for people not to hire you?

I'm posting this because today i have seen so many racial post today. so here's my little story that lets people know everyone has dealt with racism. When i was younger and moved to a new town i started my first day of 5th grade and had 5 black girls in my class, one of the leaders of that group didn't like the shoes i was wearing, so she ammediatley hated me and got her friends to hate me as well. They would act so abrasive and intimidating too scare the other white girls to hate me out of fear. Well the leader would ask around and find out when all my special days were like my birthday etc... and follow me home to gang jump me. I've always been called the white girl. Or they say sit your white *** down instead of using the name my parents gave me. Then one day i had enough and reported her to the principal and the girl accused me of turning her in because she's black!!! Well far from the truth i turned her in because evry holdiday every birthday until the 8th grade..continue

Personally, I could care less about the scholarship. What I find problamatic is the Quarter white stipulation. Why set the limit here? Does the NAACP have cut off limites?

The "N" word. I don't get it, all the black dudes at my school say it to each other, but when a white/Asian/Latin guy says it, in the same context (Friendly), they get all pissed off and turn the subject to "who hates Who" or "why the white man is a racists". I admit, I myself say the word, I guess the cultural diffusion at my school finally sank in, but I don't say it to those i don't know or in a insulting manner. What do you think? Is it right for only a certain group of ethnic people to use the term or is it just plain wrong? I'm Not Racists, ignorant or black, just use the word casually.

We as Black Women are beautiful, talented, strong, ambitious, and have some banging azz bodies.

BET Statistics showed that 68% of us black women are in college, getting degrees, and licenses. We weren't allowed to even go to school back when we were being raped, and force to cook, do laundry, and take care of their children. Now we are getting degrees, and working high-profile jobs in the corporate world. We are the Secretary of State of the whole United States, actresses, singers, doctors, lawyers, teachers, and the list goes on. I am so proud of my black women who are making good lives for themselves, and succeeding in a country where we are still fighting to be considered equal. Keep up the good work BLACK WOMEN!!!!! I LOVE YA'LL!

I read in "The Economist" magazine that in Britain, there are more children born to black/white couples than to black/black couples. That seems to indicate that, at least on a personal level, the UK has better relations between blacks and whites than the US. I know the UK has racial problems, but why the big difference? Any thoughts?
