Do ALL men watch porn?

Is there even ONE guy out there who doesn't watch porn? If you don't, why don't you? Because my boyfriend still does, even though we've been together for 2 years. I'm trying to be open minded about it, and we make our own videos and photos to replace porn, but every once in a while he still does. Just wondering if it is even POSSIBLE for a guy to Not watch porn.

Thanks for the advice, but i personally don't enjoy porn. We've tried watching it together, but i just don't like it. And the videos are going no where, we are going to get married soon, and they will not end up on the internet, but thanks for the concern.

Since the question focuses on what men DO and not how men are hardwired, I can answer that I DO NOT watch porn although I am tempted to do so regularly. I know many men who have made this commitment to themselves.
I choose to keep my mind pure from porn because even though is it pleasurable, I know that porn warps my mind and makes me see women as objects for my selfish desires instead of the intrinsically valuable and unique creations of that God made and loves and has unique plans for. The use of porn is unfaithfulness to ones wife because as the Bible says, "If a man thinks lustfully at a woman he has already committed adultery against her"
Porn is also instantly addictive. At some point each man must choose to turn it off. It shows love to ones spouse to never turn it on.

I know of a few who don't, but practically every man I know HAS viewed porn at some point.

It's kind of hard-wired into them, I guess--men like to look at naked women and I guess there's a bit of the peeping Tom in all of them.

The problem with it is that it draws away attention from your mate, and may also cause a couple to get into serious conflicts with their own bodies, performance, etc.

For example, a woman naturally may feel as if her body isn't as perfect as those of the women in these skin flicks--and a man may feel that he's somehow lacking because he can't keep an erection for thirty or forty minutes (never mind that with modern technology anyone can be made to look much better than they are by way of computer enhancing and airbrushing, or that the male might have had to down half a bottle of Viagra!).

Also--and this is a pretty serious issue for a lot of women like myself--many of these films send the message that women are no more than objects for men to use. Rarely is porn in the context of a loving, monogamous relationship--rather, the women are often abused in one way or another. There isn't any real type of character development in these movies, either--or plot, for that matter--the whole point is to show sexual activity. It's about as romantic as watching livestock being artificially inseminated.

If I knew the answer to the simple question of WHY men like porn, I'd write a book on it. I can almost guarantee it'd knock Harry Potter right off the New York Times Best Seller list!

Some men do resist the temptation. However, one must remember that men are generally visual beings and are programmed to desire sex. As another said it not because of the porn stars that they watch it (although some are really hot), but essentially it allows his imagination to soar, eventually this is returned to you, as he eventually needs an outlet for his desires, and as his girlfeind, you will be his object of desire. However, as he grows older, he might watch less frequently, and may one day stop. However, he would still be attracted towards what is sexy. The negative side of this is that sometimes his libido would also decrease as he gets older. So him watching porn is not really an issue, providing he does not start heading into a more perverse direction.

But, maybe you should start watching it with him, and tell him what you feel is awesome in the movie too, what you would like him to do you too. You never know, you might be able to use it to get him into "Bed" more often.

I know a few men who don't watch porn ANYMORE, but I have yet to meet one who never has. I also wouldn't take it too personally if your boyfriend still does. I know many happily married men who still do. Men are very visual creatures and I don't want to say that they NEED porn, but they surely appreciate more than just about any woman. Be grateful that he (your boyfriend) still has such a healthy sexual appetite. Perhaps you could enjoy watching porn together sometime. This can often truly heighten and enhance the sexual experience between the 2 of you.

Yes...All men watch porn and the one's that aren't watching wish they were. By the way, I would suggest that you be careful making porn tapes with some guy that you have only dated for two years. Best of luck

hahah well my boyfriend and i had a chat about this before....he doesn't really watch much porn but he likes it, and i understand why.

don't take it personally, it really doesn't have much to do with his girlfriend/wife. A guy (and girls too!) likes to watch porn USUALLY not because of the porn stars, hott woman (or hott men)...but just the "act" of having sex, or engaging in any sexual activity. it is arousing for a man to "watch" or look at sexual activity and simply fantasize. it doesn't mean that he thinks they are hotter than you, or that he is bored with you. it is just a natural thing for a person to do...sometime he might even be watching the porn stars, but FANTASIZING about YOU, and you and him doing the things that the porn stars are doing.
