I’m white, and I was going out with this black guy, he dressed kind of like a rap star, I don’t know really how to describe it, like baggy jeans, big shirts, you know. Anyways, I don’t dress like that. I dress in stuff that a lot of his friends who were girls didn’t dress in, and didn’t like.

All his friends, guys and girls, black and white, said stuff like “What are you doing with that little white girl?”

And some of my friends said I looked funny with him, since I dress “so white” and he doesn’t.

Does this look funny together? Why do people care?

Some of my female friends are unhappy when they see a black man with a white woman. This doesnt bother me. When I tell them Im fine with it, they jump on me for having my own opinion. I believe you can date and marry who you want to if it makes you happy . Its not my place to judge. Its not just my friends, my mother is the same way. Do some women get mad because they can't have that man and they are secretly jealous or what? What is the big problem?

I don't get it. I do not, nor will I EVER understand why in hell people discriminate against others. Especially against different races. I get so angry when people are racist. I don't understand why they are, I don't care if you are black, Asian, Hispanic, WHATEVER I don't understand why other people care either.

Could someone explain this to me? Why are they? Why are children's parents, friends, etc spreading hate? We are all humans, and we are all imperfect. I think people should deal with the fact that not one race is perfect, nor is one person. The human race is one imperfect group of people, and it shouldn’t be divided up, having some groups being discriminated against.

It makes me SICK!!!

That is my initial question. Soon as a caucasion retaliates, he is chastised. This is descrimination is reverse. Are we suppose to walk around with our tails between our legs?? The United States is going to hell in a hand basket and a civil war is looming on the horizon. The entire situation regarding Richards is idiotic. We (caucasians) are being abused daily and all we do is say, that feels good, keep abusing us. What happened to freedom of speech. Other colors get away with slurs about whites. Lets face it folks, descrimination is alive and well and will NEVER go away.

you see people are talking about how we should overcome racism and all that but when you talk of an all black college or all white college that is a segregation...what the hell is going?why do we have to go back to that!? i read in one of the answers that they would be happy so they wont be in contact with white people, another is monkey see monkey do...but why would we want to do that? isnt that wasting Martin Luther King's time in fighting for us? dude seriously, leave racism alone man!

Jews are white, look "european" and yet are not liked by the white far right and are put in the same class as "blacks and muslims"..
i can understand, but disagree to some extent with the "black and muslim" argument.. whats the story with the Jews?? i just cant understand it..they are allies to the west, and have a similar culture and apart from the circumcision you could not tell the difference!
