LATINO IS NOT A RACE!
Manu is just like i am.
White and from a latin country.
Americans usually associate Latinos with being dark skinned because there are a lot of Mexicans in the US and most Mexicans have a dark skin. That's because they are Meztizos (mix between Native and white)

But in Argentina, most of the population is White. It's like the United States, Argentina is an immigration country full of Europeans that immigrated to Argentina from around 1850 to the 1900's. We also have blondes, brunettes, red heads, people with freckles, we have people from all over Europe.

So please don't associate Latinos with being dark skinned.

I hope this clears things up for everyone.

FIrst of all, USA did not beat Argentina. Argentina has beat the USA the past 2 times at the World Championship and the Olympics. And of course he's white. And yes, Ginobili is an Italian last name. Almost all of Argentina's population is white. Much higher percentage than the US. Nocioni, who plays for the bulls, is also a white Argentinean(he's blonde too). And so is Oberto(Spurs), Delfino(Pistons), and Herrmann(Bobcats)(also blonde) All of these players have Italian last name except for Herrmann who has a German last name. I hope this clears things up for everyone.

There is no such thing as a "Latino" race. The term is merely an ethnic designation for people from Latin America. They can be white, black, mestizo, Amerindian, etc. In Manu's case, he is of Italian extraction. Most Argentinians & Uruguayans are at least partially, if not fully, Italian. In any case, almost all of the population from those two countries, in addition to much of the population of Chile, is unmixed white. Very European down there.

Unlike many continents... I dont know if you have noticed but in America when you feel in your race their is only Black, White, Native American and Asian... and in Latin America we are all mixed with different races. That's why Regan invented the word Hispanic to identify us with our spanish language not our race... We are an ethnicity not a race. Sorry to blow your bubble about race identity. Hope this helps :) and Manu is latino he speaks spanish but is of italian decent most likely.

Sociologically speaking, race is divided into 3 groups; Causazoid, ******* and Mongoloid. Therefore latinos, spaniards, europeons, etc are technically white. The divisions are based on color and facial characteristics. Even the hated Arabs are technically white.,..........
