I don't get it. I do not, nor will I EVER understand why in hell people discriminate against others. Especially against different races. I get so angry when people are racist. I don't understand why they are, I don't care if you are black, Asian, Hispanic, WHATEVER I don't understand why other people care either.
Could someone explain this to me? Why are they? Why are children's parents, friends, etc spreading hate? We are all humans, and we are all imperfect. I think people should deal with the fact that not one race is perfect, nor is one person. The human race is one imperfect group of people, and it shouldn’t be divided up, having some groups being discriminated against.
It makes me SICK!!!

Honestly I search for that answer often because my kids are biracial and it upsets me. I do know from Sociology class that all races are ethnocentric. The professor explained that all races have this built in superiority for survival and sometimes individuals in the group take it too far and become hate-filled. I also think many people misconstrue the words of their personal religion and create new rules to fit their version.

Here's an attempt to answer your question. There are a few ways where people come to discriminate against others, one of which is stereotypes. People stereotype others by race or nationality or what not, and for either fear of what they have seen or heard, or hatred for what they have seen or heard of that particular people, grow to hate. Another reason is a past exerience, for example a person may have had a run in with someone which resulted in them being hurt or embarrassed or anything for that matter, resulting in hate for that race or color of people thinking they are all the same. One more reason, that is "brainwashing" but I don't think I mean it in the traditional sense, I'm talking about being raised or "bred" to hate a certain type of people. When a child is developing psycologically, they will cling to what they're taught, I almost hesitate to say this, but it's almost as if they don't have a choice, they grow up believing what they're taught. I mean what child doesn't turn to their parents for direction. In this way a child grows up believing that the people they hate, should be hated. So I hope this at least answers this question somewhat, there are more reasons of course leading to hatred of a race or creed etc. but I think this is long enough... Oh and by the way, come on people, answers like " people are just dumb" well, I don't know exactly what to say but those kinds of answers are just a waste of readers' time.

Because they have nothing else to do. They are so bored. That they just need to make them selves be able to do something so they me rude and mean to others. I HATE IT. It drives me insane. They hate it when they do it to them. So why do they do it to others. They just need to feel on the top and make someone lower then them. Its horrible. All the race crap is so meen. No one even like knows there personality and they automatically hate htem. Its so cruel and gross. Society will never get better at this. and that is a fact. God made us all different. And they need to learn that. No one is perfect. I know exactly where your comign from and exactly how you feel. I hope that this helps you. <333 ..

I don't believe that statement about hate and love. There should never be any hate.
Usually those who discriminate are having feelings of insecurity. They want to build themselves up anyway they can.
The behavior sometimes starts with parenting. Generation to generation.

i agree we all discrimate blacks do it to i am white and i went down south for a jobI had my truck drivers licensewhen i was18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25.i never could get a job from anyone but there is one thing i didnt tell you i had a bad eye ..but i am not disabled in the eyes of our goverment but i am disabled in the eyes of our bum people in this country

You say it like it is girl!!! But one of the reasons is that people hate change and things different than them, whether it be skin color or meaningless imperfections.

people with low self esteem try to build themselves up by putting other people down.. when people of the same skin color get together they make the problem even worse by encouraging each other to discriminate..
