50% of all children American born in the past 4yrs are Mexican. If this continues, when these children are of voting age they could vote in a Mexican President. What is America then? The United States of Mexico? I have seen this happen in Africa, where the poor of another country have invaded a more prosperous country and have slowly strangeled the life out of that country untill the prosperous country has become a shell of its former power. Could this happen to America? and what about those who dont have the privilege of walking across the border. They have to rely on a visa to enter legally and for every "one" visa holder,O boy, since 911 you dont no what you have to go through to get a visa, if your visa is denied you cannot reapply for 10yrs, But the privileged, cross the border as many time as they like. America give the REST OF THE WORLD an equall oppertunity, becouse someone gave your forefathers the chance to be an American.

One Latino one person with a visa!

Is it disrcimatory to whites, to give racial minorities special rights. Two wrongs don't make a right. I feel Affirmitive action is an oxymoron in itself. How can you stop discrimation, by discriminating?

Mixed ( spoken word)

Mixed but you say choose,
not white enough to win,
not black enough for blues.
But why must I choose like you fools, mixed up confused
don't know what to do,
not white enough to win,
not black enough for blues. Brotha I thought you knew,
I like me I love who I am,
like a painters pallet these colors blend. Like I said,
I like me, I love me,
so you can take your choices,
and let me be,
myself while you be you,
then we'll see what these colors can do.
not white enough to win,
not black enough for blues.
Sista I'm just like you... cool, calm, collected,
looked at, beat down, regected.
I've been tested, have you?
Have you ever been faced with having to choose.
Not white enough to win,
not black enough for blues,
You want me to choose, come again patna cuz' I refuse,
to put a label on whats mine, so take a look at yourself and stop wastin' my time.

I have always wondered why it's ok for anyone to quote N!gger casually. Doesn't it just confine the black people to thier own by telling everyone they are a n!gger and calling thier friends n!ggers. I never understood why any self respected black man would ever want to address themself as a n!gger. please shine some light on the dark word. Nobody should use it, especially so casually as some ppl do. I'm not even allowed to type it! ******!!!

I always wondered this. Does your race/nationality/ethnicity(whatever you want to call it) affect your taste in the opposite sex (or, in some people's cases, the same sex)? I'm half white (Irish, Scottish, German, Polish, Lithuanian) and half Puerto Rican. I always found myself attracted to whites or Latin Americans. Not really any Semitics, Africans, Asians, etc. I'm not racist in any way. My father's a civil rights lawyer, so many of his clients aren't white. So is my taste based on where my ancestors came from?

I've also been told it might be because of where I grew up. I grew up around a very white/hispanic environment, and I've noticed that when people of certain races grow up in places without too many of their own kind, they seem to become attracted to people of other races.

So is it mere coincidence that many people I know and I are like this? Is it because of where we come from? Or is it because of where we grew up? Maybe somethining else?

Thanks,
Gerard

Some favorite memories of mine are trick or treating all over the neighborhood without ever thinking about having the resulting "loot" x-rayed for razors, etc. Also, I remember playing hide and seek in the dark on summer nights, also all over the neighborhood. Talk about a simpler time..'Glad I was there.

Do you think it is right that the Establishment preserve the right and indeed encourage separation of say Asians in areas such as marriage yet condemn white people for not wanting to marry outside their religion or culture? I think it is hypocritical.
