is being proud of being a white/male/hetro-sexual becoming a hate crime in my beloved USA?

What do you think goes through a man's head if a woman tells him she was sexually abused as a child? This is considering that both the man and woman are mature 30 somethings. Is he afraid the abuse will have made her crazy and destructive or are most men more open minded and compassionate than that? The woman in question didn't just tell the man this out of the blue, he was telling her about someone he loved who'd been abused and she offered up her own story of abuse in order to shed some light on the issue. Now she's afraid he'll think differently of her, or be judgemental without even realizing it.

She thinks we are going to be romantically inclined or something! HELLO- he's gay? Yeah, I tried pointing that out to her but she doesn't seem to get that idea. Do people usually do this in college and it is weird?

I actually believe that it is possible people can be born with biological differences that pre-determines what sex they will be attracted to. If people can be born with both sexual organs, then why wouldn't it be possibe? However I believe that it is an anomaly and doesn't happen that often. Although they are still in the monority, I find it hard to believe all gay people were born that way. I think there are different factors that lead people to participate in a gay life style. For instance how can a completely heterosexual man go to jail get sexually assaulted and then come out and act 100% feminent. Or less extreme examples would be; being rejected a lot by the opposite sex, simply found the lifestyle fascinating or interesting, or just a person who's sexually adventurous. Some scientists say we are all on a spectrum anyway ranging from very hetero-to-homosexual-true?. So if a person lives much of their adult life and finally figure out they are gay could the opposite be also true?

If you wanted a ham sandwhich, would you offer you partner one too..

And if you offered your partner one and they said no... would you still eat it?

The same for sex, if you want it - and they say no, aren't you still entitled to it, even if it doesnt include them.

(of course a male told me about this comparison heh)

What do you all think!! It'll be interesting to see if anyone actually makes sense out of this. Yeah i can see where he's coming from, but i dont think you can compare a relationship to a sandwich heh.

(I'm a straight female, but once again i put it under this section because its less likely to be deleted in here)

I've been reading around the news stories about how this state officially ratifies a constitutional ammendment banning same sex marriage and how that state brings up the issue again, how some reverand says procreation takes place between a man and a woman, then some activisit asks what marriage has to do with procreation in the US when so many are born out of wedlock. It seems to me that issue of religon shouldn't be a consideration to governmental policy, especially in a country that is forbidden to have a national religon, given that some religons advocate same sex marriage and sanctify it. The US is not supposed to be in a position of choosing one faith over another. Religous centers in the US enjoy tax free status. It seems to me that this tax free policy should be scrutinized if political lobbying in order to impose their belief upon a nation of freedom is continued.

Why can't those darn trolls learn how to spell? I assume it is because they are too stupid. But, then, that's definitely an understatement. They are dumber than $HIT!

So I don't get reported for not asking a question, how was your day today?

They both are married with children of their own. One son inparticular, shows utter contempt for me, his Mother. He seems to be nicer to his father, my husband. Both sons married very controlling wives but my heart is broken beyond belief. His words to me cut like a knife. They were both the light of our lives. We gave them everything we had in this world. Our home was filled with laughter and love. They were sent to the best schools, best Universities. I am very sensitive so what he says in hatred, just about kills me. I've had to bury them both while they are still alive. It's the worst kind of death. Their wives can be very hateful toward us. One son has just used us to get what he wants and now that he is successful, he doesn't want us. We love our grandchildren but the women want their families only, so we are excluded. I'm desperate. We have no family other than them. I don't want to sound like a martar but I am running out of the will to live. Help
