I see you've gotten over the silly notion of trying to have your poor Lesbian sister committed to a mental institution. That's good.

There is no single person, but rather a collective effort including gays, Lesbians, straights, all people of all colours who have pushed for equal rights of the LGBT community. Do a search on the internet and you'll find tonnes of information.

There are actually a number of posters on this site who do much for LGBT people. Learn from them...they have much to teach you.

I don't think so. I mean, Harvey Milk comes to mind sort of. The real power of us is in the fact that we are a large minority who can come together when it's important.
