good question. i mean there's girls that are called 'tomboy' & can still be straight. but if there's a girly boy, then people consider him gay. what a society huh?

I do not know but it as shame, it has to do with power and femminty, men need and feel dominate but womens clothes well enforce the opposite.
I do not mind, infact i wear women clothes a lot and even to work the joy of being your own boss, but sigh i cannot find a skirt i want to wear this morning

You're right, I believe that is some kind of discrimination in reversal. I am wearing women's clothes a year ago, jeans, blouses, shoes and so on. I feel good meeting my friends and they do not have a clue that I buy my clothes in the women section.

Don't know. I've wondered the same thing. Why can two women dance together but not two men? Why can two women say, "let's go the bathroom", when they're at a restaurant but not two men?
And having said that, being a man, I don't want to do any of them. But that's just me.

It's one of the few double standards where women have the upper hand in our society.

I don't know . . . I think it's sad, because pretty guys are just . . . oh, there are no words. I love guys in makeup, especially if they have long hair.
I think it's because there's this stereotype about guys having to be "manly" to be "good," and so if a guy enjoys looking pretty, he can't be "good." Stupid, really.

Because for a boy to look like a girl is degrading...because people think that being a girl is degrading, but secretly they'd all like to know what it feels like to be a girl...

I've been wondering myself that lately, when my husband wears a dress I find it flattering to his figure.
