Too all those Gay Bashers out there
I class myself as a christian and gay! I accept you have your own views but don't expect everyone to agree with you.
If you don't try to push your values onto me I will not judge you for those beliefs, they are your beliefs no matter how much I dissagree with them.

One question
Why are you trying so hard to push your beliefs onto me? Is it that you think God will not love you if you don't. We don't become gay for fun, I did not wake up one morning and think "I know I will be Gay that will make my life easier!" No I didn't and if God hates it so my why would he make me this way? You must remember that the Bible is mans repersentation of Gods word, only a few men at that, SURELLY Gods work is more of a example of the word of God rather then a fews interpration of it.

I'm an in the closet gay guy and my bestfriend is a guy..a HOT guy that i'm attracted to. I've been noticing for a while now that he kind of flirts with me and does things that a "normal" straight guy wouldn't necessarily do. We'll be at his house and be "wrestling" but its so obvious (at least i think it is) that he is flirting with me. It seems like he sends me subconcious messages but I'm too scared to find out if thats what they really are. I've sent him subconcious messages too and he doesn't seem to respond in a negative way but i'm not sure if thats because we are bestfriends or because he is actually attracted to me..Sometimes i feel so strongly that he is attracted to me and sometimes i don't. He has sex with girls we both do..i just want to try and figure out if he is also in the closet/bi/bi curious or anything? HELP!!! i hope i didn't confuse anyone!

he walks talks and acts feminine and not interested in any girls like other boys just has them as friends. has been in behavior schools due to emotional problems and psychologist evaluation says he has identity issues and some say he is emotionally desturbed? what does that mean? he has never been abused or treated bad?

Their wives want to change their looks....women dont like what makes men to be men.....for instance...no beard or stache...or the 2 of them wearing matching colors....pushing pastel colored strollers through the mall...and on and on/..

I don't think that everyone is born with their sexuality. Some are, but not all...

Some people are born gay, some straight, some bisexual. Some people figure it out along the way. Some people fall in love with the person (not just as in bisexuality, but as in a person who has identified as one side of the pole, and fallen in love with someone on the other side of the pole.)

So why do we keep insisting that you have to be born one way? Isn't that just shallow and ignorant?

According to sociologists and their theories on gender socialization, infants are raised to behave like men and women. Women don't know that they're "supposed" to wear skirts & play with barbies or do this or do that until someone sticks a barbie in their hand. It's the same concept with men. They don't know that they're "supposed" to be more macho and play with GI Joe until someone shows them.

With that in mind, we would LEARN to like the opposite sex because we have been taught how to behave like men and women. So, how can anyone be born being partial to any specific gender? How can someone be born gay? Wouldn't you have to get the idea from your environment? (Disclaimer: I'm not homophobic or judgemental- I really am curious about ur thoughts on this)

I keep hearing how homosexuality is the least accepted among African Americans. Is this true and if so, I feel that my fellow African Americans should be the least homophobic of all. After all, homophobia is not much different from racism in which a group of people are being unfairly discriminated against for something they can't help but being. I would have thought after our dealings with racism and the stuff caucasians put black people through, that my fellow African Americans would know better and at least wouldn't be the main race known for homophobia. I keep hearing how homophobia is most common among African Americans. I don't know if this has anything to do with a lot of African Americans being Christian or what, but I would just expect the opposite. I'd expect caucasians to be the main ones who are homophobic because number 1, there are more whites than any other race and number 2, there the ones responsible for civil rights and slavery. Why are African Americans most anti-gay?

Why are some people gay? Are they born gay or did they become gay after mixing the wrong crowd?

I once knew a guy from school. He's a nice guy. Very active in sports, very macho and someone who can bear the brunt of things. There is really nothing to suggest he can be gay. He also never even wore earrings or do makeup.

Yet, it is a surprise to us he and a guy got hitched recently.

We feel he could have become gay after getting involved with the wrong crowd. Some of the people he got along with had gay characteristics and so we feel he might have been influenced by them to be like them.

Do you think this can be true?

So I want to know... and mostly to those "gay" people out there or anyone who supports it... do you think that gays are born the way they are? Please explain because I surely DONT agree on gay couples and DONT believe that gay people are born that way. My reasons are because its a free will decision. Another reason why I dont believe is because GOD DID NOT MAKE GAY PEOPLE THAT WAY. In the begining God made man in his own image: perfect. But of course when sin came along and Adam & Eve ate from the forbidden tree, that's when man turned corrupt. So how can you say that gay people are born the way they are because God made them that way if God himself made man in HIS image???
