Why in the hell would I choose to live my life as a gay man and put up with all the bullshit? If I could choose, it would to be straight. But I'm not going to fight my feelings and go against what God has made me.

I dont think you choose to be that way, why would anyone choose a life where you are completely ostracized from society, where all religions teaches that you are on the road to perdition and where you family, friends and almost everyone hated you?

False. Sexual preference is a choice. Anyone who says "it's not my fault" or "it's how i was born" is looking for an excuse because they obviously think that what they are doing is wrong. They should just be who they want and not look for a reason to justify it. (i'm stepping off my soap box now lol)

Sexual orientation (not preference) is not a choice.
To those here who say it is a choice are also saying that they also are attracted to members of the sex that they are.

Sexual orientation is not a choice.
The only choice in the matter is whether or not you decide to actually have sex. Who attracts your interest in that matter(as in Gender) is not up to you.

Well, if you are bi and gender is not something you consider in a mate you can choose, and that's what confuses a lot of the "exgay" preachers, who generally ARE bisexual, and think that if they sleep with someone of the opposite sex they are "cured."
Gender just isn't on my radar when selecting a mate.
